A Walk Around Taormina – Part 1

We sailed from Valletta Malta to Taormina Sicily.  We actually anchored-tendered at Port Giardini Naxos and took the small boats into the shore.  There we boarded a motor coach and head to Taormina.

I will have four posts for Taormina, two of the sites and images on our walk to the Greco-Roman Theater and back to the main gate, one of the churches and the small recently discovered Greek theater Odeon and finally a post of the main attraction of Taormina, the large Greco-Roman Theater.

Today’s post – the first images of our walk from the main gate towards the theater.
