Digital Scrapbooking – Harry Potter

November 23, 2011

In September we went to Disney World and spent one day at Universal Studios.  I had to capture some images of the Harry Potter Wizarding World.

I’ve been learning various Photoshop Elements techniques for digital scrapbooking.  This media gives me the opportunity to publish my favorite pictures as well as creatively display them in a scrapbook.

Here is my first page of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.  I have 11 more pages under design.  They include:  Hogwarts Inside,  Hogsmeade, Hogsmeade Station, Hogs Head Bar, Butter Beer, Owl Post (2 pages), Post Office, Three Broomsticks, and the Shops (2 pages)

Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry or simply Hogwarts is the primary setting for the first six books of the Harry Potter series by J. K. Rowling, with each book lasting the equivalent of one school year. It is a fictional boarding school of magic for witches and wizards between the ages of eleven and seventeen. In Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, however, most of the book is set outside Hogwarts as main characters Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger do not attend their final year of school (though Rowling has stated that Hermione eventually returns to school to complete her N.E.W.T. examinations). The climactic battle of the book, and the series, however, is set at Hogwarts.

  1. We were at Harry Potter World in November and I am having a hard time finding digital scrapbooking kits that fit with all the pictures that I took. I love your page. Do you share/sell your digital pages?

    1. I hope you are able to translate this response: The Harry Potter scrape book is not a kit. I designed each of these on my own and built all the small elements from my pictures. I would be glad to share if you are interested in something.
Let me know and I will send an attachment to your email.
