We spent the Christmas holidays at Walt Disney World in Florida this year again. We are members of the Disney Vacation Club so we booked a suite from December 20 – December 27.
Overall, the visit was a bit disappointing this year. Disney must be cutting back for Christmas, as many of the parks had little or no decorations. The Christmas hat was not on the water tower in Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom has a few decorations, but not over the top. Epcot was a bummer! The bridge to the World Showcase is usually complete covered with holiday decorations and there wasn’t anything but the tree at the end of the bridge. The Magic Kingdom holiday shows ended on the 19th… so we missed all the holiday events.
But.. I did take a few images and I’ve selected some of the better ones. Not your typical Disney snapshots… I have thousands of those from over the years. I spent time looking for the little things that capture your eye and perhaps your imagination! The next several posts will be from trips to the various parks. Here are a few images from Disney Hollywood Studios (aka MGM Studios several years ago)
