After leaving Rudesheim we traveled to Mainz. Some of the passengers were hoping to dock early enough to visit the Johannes Gutenberg museum, and a few did pay the admission when it was only 45 minutes until closing. But I chose to wander the markets and get a few snaps during the blue hour just before darkness set in. As had been the pattern for most of our trip so far, it was misty and cold so photo opportunities were limited.

After an hour or so in the market I headed back to the ship for dinner. I stopped along the riverbank to capture a couple of long exposures of the bridge and the opposite riverbank near where we were docked.
