The Aloha tower is one of the most recognizable symbols of Honolulu. Originally opened on September 11, 1926 at a then astronomical cost of $160,000, the Aloha Tower is located at Pier 9 of Honolulu Harbor. It has and continues to be a guiding beacon welcoming vessels to the City and County of Honolulu.
The tower is open to the public where you can go up to the Observation Deck, located on the 10th floor to find the perfect spot for beautiful views of the harbor on one side and the cityscape on the other.
Here are three views taken during my visit in November. All are multiple images stitched together in Lightroom and then edited with content aware fill on the edges in Photoshop. Minor adjustments for clarity and vibrance added in Lightroom.
