After our visits to Moray and Maras, we stopped at a fantastic location for lunch; the Sol & Luna Resort where we ate at the Killa Wasi (house of the moon) restaurant. http://www.hotelsolyluna.com/english/hotel.htmThe restaurant Killa Wasi (House of the Moon) features Novo Andino cusine, a distinctive blend of Andean, coastal and international flavors. Chef Nacho Selis Martinez who studied international, Creole and Andean cuisines in Lima, offers a diverse selection: camote (sweet potato), choclo (local corn), and fried yucca appetizers, alpaca, trout, chicken, kingfish and gallina entrees, quinoa, (Andean grain) and corn soups, tarwi (a local bean) and kingfish ceviches, as well as sandwiches and deserts http://www.hotelsolyluna.com/english/rest.htm
The food was wonderful, but the gardens were hard to beat!
