I was out in Denver for about 4 weeks in October, helping with a project that was behind schedule. So my days were generally 6am to 6pm and I didn’t see much of Denver under sunlight. But one evening I did manage to get back to the hotel room before the sunset and walked a few blocks around the hotel to grab a few images of the downtown area.
This image was shot from my hotel window, down on the glass dome over the conference area of the hotel. As the sun was low, the patterns and warm colors were pretty interesting.
The other images are on the street just a few minutes from the hotel (the Downtown Sheraton). As you can see from the cowboy statue, it was quickly too dark to shoot without a tripod.
