Return to Blogging – Finishing up Rudesheim

Well I’ve been away from my blogging now 3 months… no excuses, just having fun going on photo shoots around town; went to Mardi Gras, went to the Dustoff Reunion for the 68th Medivac unit in Nashville and in between did a few weeks of work.  So it’s time to get back to posting…  I have about 30 folders of images sitting on my desktop to get out on the blog and the counts are growing every day.

So the next several posts will wrap up our trip to Germany last Christmas (yes, I know — it’s about time!)…  but then I still have Rome!!  We went to Rome July 2014 and I still have not processed most of Rome.  I do have some images ready to post and I will begin to post them after the Germany trip.   But, I will alternate posts with some of the sites I’ve been visiting around Texas.

I won’t be posting the Mardi Gras parades on the blog.  I still have about 4 parades to finish.  Once complete, you will find them over on my Shutterdo Flicker account if you are interested in viewing the Mardi Gras parades.

Today’s post is the rest of the images from Rudesheim after we left the Siegfried Mechanical Music Museum.

One of the “must do” activities while in Rudesheim is to have a Rudesheim coffee.  Now this is coffee, but it is coffee with a kick.  Not sure what types of alcohol are added but I know one thing– you don’t feel your feet on the cold walk back to the ship.  Definitely a taste to treasure on your stop here in Rudesheim.
