Chapel of Transfiguration

This small log cabin chapel, also known as St. John’s Episcopal Church, was constructed in 1925 and still holds services on Sunday during the summer through the end of September.  The chapel will seat about 65 inside and weather permitting has some additional seating outside.  You can also make arrangements to have your wedding in this location.

Chapel of Transfiguration just within the southern entrance of Grand Teton National Park is operated by St. John’s Episcopal Church in Jackson, Wyoming

The inside of the church has a beautiful picture window that frames the Grand Tetons.  A beautiful place to worship nature.

The rustic log Chapel of the Transfiguration of Grand Teton National Park has a large window behind its altar which frames the magnificent beauty of the Teton Mountain Range.

I also tried to capture the lovely stain glass widows in the entry.  Hard to get them upright with just a couple of feet to work with and not a tilt-shift lens on the camera.
