One of the great things about living in San Antonio is the many small hill country towns you can visit; and many of them are less than an hour drive.
A couple weekends ago we took the Vette out for a drive and headed to Boerne for lunch. Boerne Texas is along I-10 just northwest of San Antonio. Because we leave north central, we can take state highway 46 west from highway 281 and be in Boerne in 30 minutes from our house and never get on a major highway or interstate.
