The gloomy, cold and rainy winter weather continued for our stop in Heidelberg. I have been to Heidelberg before during the summer so I had mix feeling about the inability to get out and enjoy the day. One, I was glad I wasn’t here for the first time as I would have been very disappointed to have come so far and had such a miserable day; but then I was glad that I had seen it before in a much better setting.
We only spent about 30 minutes at the castle; not nearly enough time to really enjoy its splendor. Then had plenty of time to enjoy the town and the markets before re-boarding our coach and heading back to the ship. Overall a very disappointing day for photography.
