Using Frequency Separations and Mixer

Today – a special… a video.
I built this video to demonstrate a technique for using a Frequency Separation in photoshop for painting animal hides such as elephants. This could be used for any animals without fur or feathers that have rough textured hides.

In addition, I demonstrate a couple of other painting techniques on top of your mixer brush painting to add depth to your texture and show how to blend all the color and texture back together for a more finished look.
I cover three techniques in less then 30 minutes, so they are rather quickly done, mainly to demonstrate the techniques. You will want to take a bit more time and paint with more precision and care than I do in this video when you use these techniques for your signature work. This is a tutorial to show you the process.
