After a week on the Rhine, our final destination is Basel Switzerland. Another very cold day to try to enjoy the market but we had plenty of time to explore the area after our guided tour into the center of town.
I opted not to take the optional excursion to Lake Lucerne as I wasn’t looking forward to the long coach ride, but after a day in Basel I sort of wish I had signed up for the other tour as well. Oh well, it gives me a reason to book another tour to Switzerland!
