From San Juan to San Diego

I was browsing through the various cruise sales that I get via email one day and I spotted this re-positioning cruise that relocated a ship from the Caribbean to the Pacific coast for the summer cruises to Alaska.  It was a 14 day excursion with several days cruising and I thought it might be a great winter break.  So we signed up and so did a few friends.  We began the cruise on May 2, 2015 and the next several post will give you a few of the highlights of our adventures (and a few of the disappointments) along the way.

The first two full days we were at sea, no ports of call.  On the third day we reached the panama canal. Our itinerary called for stops in Puntarenas, Coast Rica; Puerto Quetzal Guatemala; Puerto Vallarta, Mexico; Cabo San Lucas, Mexico; Ensenada, Mexico and then disembark at San Diego, California.

To get us started, a few images from around the ship, the Jewel of the Seas.
