Celia and I did book an excursion today, but as we waited until the last minute to make a selection, most tours were sold out and we we had limited choices. We ended up going on a bus that would take us inland to Hotel La Reunion Golf Resort & Residences where we had lunch and then we visited a native town to learn about their textiles and coffee. While the golf course was very nice, it really wasn’t my idea of visiting Costa Rica. I would have preferred an extra 2 hours of time in the small towns or villages versus sitting around a hotel having a prepared lunch. But, it was good and it was part of the tour we signed up for!
Below are a few images of the golf course and our first stop to learn about how the textiles are made and learn a bit about coffee. Tomorrow’s post will follow up with a few images of downtown San Antonio Aguas Calientes.
